Week 1: Technology/Blog Goals

How will I integrate technology into my blog post?

• I plan to integrate videos that I find from the web and ones that I make specific for my content area. I also plan to link to fellow teacher blogs and resources off the web. The goal of the blog is to also have students integrate technology into the blog.

How will I use my blog in the classroom?

• I plan to use this site like a flipped unit, in which students will use the blog as a self guide to learn about the topics related to life science.

I am excited for this trip to be able to work with glass and see the rich heritage of the state and how glass shaped the northern part of WV. This will be a challenge for me to integrate glass within a life science class, but I am surrounded by a great group of teachers that will help me out.
